Showcasing Queensland Beef at the Ekka

It’s been another stellar year as the presenting partner of the Royal Queensland Steakhouse at Brisbane’s Ekka!

This year’s show attracted the biggest crowd in 20 years, with thousands of visitors enjoying our Queensland beef in the premium pop-up steakhouse. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the quality and flavour of our award-winning beef from the Royal Queensland Awards to a wide audience. Our Ebony Black Angus eye-fillet steak was one of the most popular steaks on the Steakhouse menu, delighting diners with its tenderness and incredible flavour. Alongside this we had our RQA award-winning Black Diamond Rump steak and Ebony Black Angus smoked brisket ‘Sloppy Joe’ served on butter brioche.

The Ekka is Queensland’s largest and most iconic event, drawing around 400,000 visitors every year. The show celebrates the state’s rich agricultural industries and cultural heritage, bringing together rural communities and city-goers in a one-of-a-kind celebration.
